Billy Nguyen

Billy Nguyen will be starting his post-secondary academic career at the University of California, Berkeley in the Fall of 2024 as a Computer Science major.
Billy’s stellar academic career has displayed his passion and dedication to learning. His innovativeness along with his eagerness to assist others in comprehending math and technology are illustrated through his time tutoring and creating an online math platform for a class.
His Goal: is to bring more technology and engineering opportunities to his hometown to break down barriers that hinder generations’ success.

University of Nebraska Lincoln ‘28, Pre-Medicine

Asanti Mohammed

Asanti Mohammed will be attending the University of Nebraska Lincoln in the Fall of 2024 on the pre-medicine track.
Asanti has overcome multiple adversities in her life, including immigrating to the United States at a young age.
She is grateful to have fulfilled one of her top American dreams by having the opportunity to further her education by attending college. Her passion for education and medicine stems from wanting to be able to treat and cure preventable illnesses.
Her Goal: to learn more and specialize in Audiology as a physician to make a positive impact in the lives of people.

Lesly Rosales

Lesly Rosales will start her journey through Law at the University of California, Berkeley this upcoming Fall in 2024.
Lesly’s dedication to education and success in her schooling have demonstrated her ability to excel in her future aspirations.
Empowered by her experience as a first-generation Latina, she aims to make a positive change in society for future generations. To do so, she has chosen to pursue a career that enables her to address problems and execute solutions to issues such as wealth gaps and immigration reform.
Her Goal: to become a Human Rights lawyer and open her own law firm to assist those in need.
